Takeachancejimmy stormed home to run out a convincing winner of the extended five furlong handicap at Navan.
Nigel Slevin 's charge was drawn wide in stall 22 and was produced to challenge on the outer inside the final furlong.
The chestnut gelding asserted in the closing stages to run out a three-and-a-quarter length winner under Robbie Colgan.
The 9/1 winner had been runner-up to Haqeeba on his last visit to the course. He was recording his third career success having won over seven furlongs and a mile previously.
“He won a shade cosy in the end,” said Slevin.
“He bumped into one the last day. He's won over five and seven now so he's versatile and we'll tip away with him. We've nothing really in the pipeline and we'll just see what comes up.
“He's consistent and Robbie gets a good old tune out of him. He's hot and Robbie just sits cold on him.
“It's great for Robbie and Tom (Connolly's) wife isn't too well so hopefully that will give her a lift.”
