Jessie Takes Opener in Style
Formerly trained by Paul Cashman, Borrowaddy won in the colours of Martin Lynch at Kilbeggan on Saturday night and Jessies Dream who won 'between the flags' for the Rathbarry Stud operator, made it three from three since joining Willie Mullins in the Aon Insurances Hurdle.
Backed as if defeat were out of the question this morning, the son of Presenting was easier to back on track (out to 2/1) but he justified the confidence of his supporters when bursting through between horses approaching the last, quickly putting the issue beyond doubt on the way to a four length win over Noble Prince
Meath man Lynch also has that good mare, Serpentaria with Mullins and the trainer said: "He is improving all the time and they went a good gallop which helped him to settle as he can be a tough enough horse to ride. I'd imagine he'll go chasing next season. Being by Presenting he should go on better ground and we may find something for him in the next month before putting him away."
