Jerry keeps the locals happy
Lawrence (Larry) Walshe, a local to Cork racecourse at Mallow, has found this track to be a happy hunting ground having saddled Annie's Dream to win on the flat here in March 2008 and the Buttevant handler struck again with that one's half-brother, Jerry's Agent under Philip Enright in the Dromahane Maiden Hurdle.
This son of Imperial Ballet proved a neck too strong for Headly's Bridge with a nine length gap back to the front-running favourite Frosted Grape
Walshe commented of the Frances Sexton-owned (her first winner, she is Walshe's partner) victor: "He is small but he has done nothing but improve over hurdles. He might go back and run on the flat here at Easter or he could go for a winners of one."
