Jembatt wins again
Jembatt followed up on his recent win at Tipperary when running out a convincing winner of the Paul Byrne Memorial Handicap in the hands of Fran Berry.
Berry who made most aboard the 8/1 shot was clear from over two furlongs out and kept on strongly to score by a comfortable two and a half lengths.
Winning trainer Eddie Lynam said afterwards: “He did that well and he’s going the right way.”
“Somebody must have gave him a sleeping tablet at Dundalk, we changed the tactics and it seems to have worked.”
