The Michael Mulvany trained Jembatt followed up a recent win at Down Royal with his seventh career success in the Tipperary Ladies Day Saturday 9th July Handicap at Tipperary today.
The son of Captain Rio was produced to lead by Gary Carroll with his challenge inside the final furlong and in the end just prevailed by a short head from Hatton Cross
Afterwards Mulvany stated “he is finally getting consistent in his old age!
“He’s entered at Bellewstown tomorrow and might as well run; he’s tough as old boots.”
