Willie Mullins was continuing his good run when winning The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Chase with the Peter Garvey owned Jayo ridden by champion jockey Ruby Walsh.

Mullins said afterwards, "His jumping was electric. I'm sure he's Arkle bound after that. We'll possibly go for The Arkle at Leopardstown and Cheltenham but we'll have to look at the timing and I don't think the ground will be too important."
