The Charles O'Brien trained Mount Flora caused a 12/1 surprise when winning the concluding Winter Racing At Dundalk Handicap at Dundalk this evening and helped jockey Michael Hussey compete a double on the evening.
Hussey, earlier successful on Indian Landing kept the daughter of High Chaparral going in the closing stages for her maiden win, beating Excelli by half a length.
Hussey later reported "I've had a double before but it's been a while!
"This filly took a while to get going but she stuck at it well."
