Invincible Ash completes hat-trick
Apprentice jockey Gary Carroll recorded his first Listed winner at Tipperary today when guiding the Michael Halford trained Invincible Ash to a neck win in the Abergwaun Stakes.
Afterwards Halford stated “Invincible Ash has been very good to us, needs fast ground and we may skip her declared engagement at The Curragh on Sunday (in the Group 3 Pheonix Sprint Stakes) if there is too much of a cut in the ground.”
He added “She deserved that as she had previously been Listed placed but failed to get her preferred fast ground last year.”
