Indrahar readily fended off the favourite Ottilie as she obliged in the seven furlong fillies' handicap at Cork. Peace Mission led the five-runner field but looked vulnerable to the closers and so it proved.

Shane Foley started to nudge second-placed Indrahar to get closer in the final quarter of a mile and then went for the whip as his mount swept into the lead at the furlong pole.

She was followed through by Ottilie but bounded away to close out the race by a length and three parts to reward those who played at Burlington Bertie 100/30.

The 15/8 favourite couldn't get on terms at the business end and had to settle for second.

Trainer Mick Halford said: "She took time to come to hand this year and that was good for her second run.

"She was very tough and genuine and her heart is the biggest part of her. She has a lovely temperament and ultimately you'd love to get black-type with her although she has a bit to go for that yet.

"She'll go for a handicap next."

Indrahar showed improvement from her seasonal debut in Fairyhouse when finishing second behind Time To Reason. That was her first run since winning her maiden in Dundalk last October.
