Definite Income recorded her third win of the year as she just prevailed in the XSP Available At BETDAQ.COM Handicap Hurdle.
Successful at Wexford in July, she then disappointed at Cork, before winning at the Mallow venue in August.
She again under performed at Clonmel last month, and fell at Cork last weekend.
Sent off a 20/1 chance today she was settled towards the front of the chasing pack by Brian Hayes, as A Twist Of Fate attempted to make all.
The John Kiely trained victor went second from four out, and hit the front before the straight. She was joined by Concience before the last, but rallied gamely under pressure on the run-in, getting back up to score by half a length.
The aforementioned Concience (14/1), who was the first reserve, had to settle for second Shane Crimin for Des McDonogh, while First To Boogie was a length and a half back in third under Robbie Colgan for Madeleine Tylicki at 10/1 (16's last night and from 12's on-course). Mr Boss Man completed the placings another length and a half back in fourth, while the 7/2 favourite William Du Berlais was a disappointing twentieth under Mark Walsh for Enda Bolger.
John Kiely said afterwards: "I was disappointed that she didn't get too far in Mallow. She seemed to jump it well enough but just didn't put down her landing gear.
"The ground helped and she travelled a bit better today. Hopefully we will have a nice summer with her next year."
