Humps And Bumps aims for smooth route in Roscommon

Humps And Bumps is likely to be a popular choice for the Leo Dolan Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Roscommon.
This Peter Croke-trained mare indicated that her turn would not be far away with a strong-finishing fourth at Tipperary last week.
Davy Russell rides the Maurice Sheehy-owned and bred six-year-old for the first time on Tuesday, taking over from amateur rider Cian Cullinan.
County Wexford native Cullinan registered a second point-to-point win when Humps And Bumps made her only start between the flags a winning one at Turtulla last November.
That Golden Vale Foxhounds meeting, staged at a venue near Thurles, saw the Croke runner put her previous track experience to good use — scoring by three lengths, despite jumping noticeably to the left at the second last.
It is a little concerning that Humps And Bumps was also reported to have hung left when down the field at Cork in March.
However, she has performed up to scratch going right-handed more than once in the past, and Russell can be trusted to get the best from her too.
In the Connolly’s Red Mills Rated Novice Hurdle, Russell rides Everybreathyoutake — one of six last-time-out winners involved.
Everybreathyoutake’s trainer Gordon Elliott also has Soldier At War in the feature race.
The Cullentra House trainer has seven runners on the card, rounded off by Kashmir Wilde (Lisa O’Neill) in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares (Ladies Pro/Am) INH Flat Race.
Two riders in search of a breakthrough success under rules in the closing event are Sarah Kavanagh — on Blue Heather for the red-hot Gavin Cromwell yard — and Susie Doyle, on Punchestown runner-up Getaway Some Day
