Pat Hughes saddled his first winner since September when Raise The Goblet (20/1 – 12/1) came home in front of The Bambury Bookmakers (Q.R) Handicap under Colin Motherway.

Winning trainer Hughes said afterwards, “We were a little a bit worried about the ground as they said he wanted firm ground in England but he handled the ground well today. I think he’ll get 2 miles and we’ll probably mix it on the flat and over hurdles for the Summer.”
