Hogan/Swan win opener at Cork
The opening race this afternoon at Cork, the Mallow Maiden Hurdle, was won by 9/2 shot Cerveza Dinero from the Charlie Swan stable in the hands of Denis Hogan.
Hogan raced the Beneficial gelding in mid-division, took closer order approaching straight, challenged for the lead 2 out and kept on well under a strong a drive by Hogan to lead close home and deny Warhead under Davy Russell by a length.
