Fight U For It (nearest) gets the better of Master Of Time

Conor Hoban gave Fight U For It a strong drive in the seven-furlong handicap to register a quick double at Dundalk tonight.
Fight U For It led in the early stages but was restrained in second when Master Of Time took up the running after a furlong-and-a-half.
Hoban was at work on the outsider of the three runners (11/4) passing the two furlong marker but he stuck on well for pressure.
The Andy Oliver-trained colt pressed Master Of Time from the furlong pole and got on top in the closing stages to register a half-length success.
The winner was gaining a deserved victory having been placed three times at the track towards the end of last year. Not Your Call was sent off the 5/4 favourite but failed to make any impression in the straight having raced third the whole way.
“It was a great ride by Conor who is riding out of his skin at the moment,” said Oliver afterwards.
“This horse has a few idiosyncrasies and was touched off a few times here last year. He'll go for another handicap.”
Hoban had also landed the opener on Political Policy for boss Michael Halford.
