The Ballyleague Maiden was won by the Willie Mullins trained Shanghai Star with Seamie Heffernan in the saddle for owners Teahon Consulting Limited.

Heffernan raced his mount in behind the leaders improved to challenge 2f out, led 1f out and kept on well to win by 1 length.
