He’llberemembered lands Galway opener
Two-horse Monasterevin based restricted trainer Paul Fahey saddled He’llberemembered to win the opening Kenny Group Maiden Hurdle at Galway today, under the handler’s nephew James Fahey.
The son of Blue Ocean raced prominently throughout, led from two out and battled gamely to see off the challenge of Gentleman Jeff by a length and three parts.
Afterwards trainer Fahey stated “He’llberemembered was a little idle in front but stuck to the task when he needed to. He may go to Listowel next and then come back here for a novice hurdle in October - he’ll stay two and a half miles. He’llberemembered is one of only two horses I have in training, the other is The Bay Lad.”
