Hayes off the mark on Choisi
Lechevalier Choisi stretched away from his rivals in good style to claim the opening five-furlong maiden at Navan.
Chris Hayes, partnerning his first winner of the season, gave the Choisir colt a positive ride from the front.
Jim McCabe 's charge kicked for home over a furlong out and galloped on strongly in the closing stages to post a four-length victory over Still Point
"He's a good horse and looks a nice sprinter," said Curragh trainer McCabe.
"We'll look at a Listed event next. We'll see what the handicapper does. Chris said he was doing nothing in front."
