Fozzy Stack's A Little Bit Me won the www.corkracecourse.ie Handicap in first-time blinkers at Cork today, scoring an easy three and a quarter lengths win under the trainer's new stable jockey Chris Hayes.
The daughter of The Factor quickened well in the closing stages and afterwards Hayes stated “she ran better than it looked at Dundalk the last day when she got a bit lost but she finished off the race quite well and has a good attitude. The blinkers helped today and they woke her up a bit. She is very genuine though and she galloped to the line.
“It wasn’t the strongest of races so hopefully she can win again.
“I’m loving it (being in Fozzy Stack’s yard) and he’s a pleasure to ride for. I’m there two mornings a week and it was Fozzy’s idea to put blinkers on her today and I’m just lucky to be part of it.”
