"He did it well. I like him a lot and I thought his run the last day was very encouraging," said Chris Hayes after landing race two at Dundalk, the 12th July Horse & Greyhound Racing Maiden on Fasuba
Owned and trained by Fozzy Stack, this Power gelding dwelt but he soon led.
Pushed along to assert over a furlong out Fasuba kept on well inside the final furlong to account for 100/1 chance Elegant Emmeline by three and a quarter lengths.
Odds-on favourite Ice Canyon finished half a length back in third.
"He's just a little over-genuine if there is such a thing. He's a bit buzzy and hard to settle so rather than fight him we said we'd let him stride," further explained Hayes.
"Hopefully he can win again. There was a lot of pressure on with the owner/trainer!"
