Norwalk Havoc made it two from two this season when running out a convincing winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race at Gowran Park this afternoon.
The Showcasing gelding went to post 5/2 joint-favourite in the seven-furlong contest to follow up on his maiden win at Leopardstown 13 days ago.
Shane Foley grabbed a narrow lead a furlong-and-a-half from home on his mount and he stayed on strongly in the closing stages to post a two-and-a-half length win over Shelaka
“He said he hated the tacky ground. He doesn't do a stroke, he was looking at everything but he'll get there. That was only his third run and I'm delighted with him,” said Harrington.
“Shane said he'll be better on a bit better ground, he said that's really tacky.
“We'll take little baby steps with him. He said he thinks he'll be better in a better race when he gets taken along, because when he got to the front there he looked at everything — he did the same in Leopardstown.”
