Harrington in form ahead of Leopardstown Cup
Jessica Harrington, whose Crystal Morning runs in the Leopardstown Cup later, was on the mark at Tramore today, winning the Noel Cummins Bookmakers Hurdle with Takeyourcapoff under Mark Bolger.
The son of King’s Theatre tracked the leader Royal Choice before moving to lead at the final flight, staying on well on the run-in.
Harrington was at Leopardstown but assistant Eamonn Leigh did say “Takeyourcapoff is a grand mare for breeding for in the future but we’re not sure where she’ll go next. She handled the track well and there are a couple of more offspring to come out of her dam (Masiyrna’s Article).”
Capable winning rider Bolger, who has had a quiet spell since riding 22 winners in the 2008/09 season, has begun this season well and has now partnered four winners.
