Harrington doubles up with Maller
Jessica Harrington completed a quick double when Maller Tree took the concluding Lester Piggott at Bellewstown Ladies Bumper.
The trainer's daughter Kate sent her mount into the lead with three furlongs to run and he always looked in control from there. Butterfly Lion tried to throw down a challenge in the closing stages but could only get within a length of the 9/10 winning favourite.
"He did it well and deserved it," said Kate Harrington afterwards.
"He's a good one and will probably go for a winners of one bumper. He just got a bit leery in front coming to the road."
Harrington had also supplied the winner of the 'Arkle Legends Race' in Bullock Harbour
