The Toronado and Ivawood colours were carried to success at Naas today as Marshall Jennings was the second leg of a Jessica Harrington trained and Colm O'Donoghue ridden double, in the Tote Quick Pick Now Available Handicap.
O'Donoghue had steered St Brelades Bay to an earlier win, making it five winners in three days for the new trainer/jockey pairing and following Marshall Jennings' win, Harrington stated “he was threatening to do that last year and nothing went right for him, so it's great to win first time out this year.
“I've withdrawn him twice because the ground was too soft and he doesn't like it really really soft but we got everything right today.”
Winning owners, husband and wife Fiona Carmichael and Ian Jennings also raced top class speedsters Ivawood and Toronado.
