Harbanaker (11/1) registered the first win of his career when landing the Glenageary Handicap (50-70) (Div II).
Turned out again quickly by Gavin Cromwell after finishing down the field at Killarney on Tuesday, he chased the leaders before coming through to contend racing to the final furlong.
The Camacho gelding got to the front in the closing stages and held the renewed effort of Beagnach Sasta (16/1) by a neck. Kosman (9/1) and Take My Hand (50/1) completed the placings.
The 9/4 favourite Coill Na Sionainne turned for home in front but weakened in the straight and was eased to finish eleventh.
Winning rider Gary Carroll commented: “That was good. He had some good runs before, running on ground that he probably didn't like.
“The bit of nicer ground today helped him, he had a good draw and got a smooth run around.
“The line came in time for him but he deserved that.”
