Gunga Din gets Kinsella off the mark for season
Andrew Kinsella registered his first winner of the new Flat season when saddling Gunda Din to win the Blarney Handicap at Cork today, under Pat Smullen.
Afterwards Kinsella reported "Gunga Din had knee surgery last year and that seems to have sorted him out. He had been working very well but was still carrying a little condition and could improve from the run."
He added "Gunga Din may go to Gowran at the end of the month for another handicap and if he runs well there, he may run in the Greenlands Stakes at The Curragh on Guineas day."
