Co Kilkenny based trainer Eoin Griffin saddled Finicius under Johnny Murtagh, to win The Fitzwilliam Business Centre Race.

Murtagh raced his mount towards rear, took closer order from over 2f out, kept on well on the outside to lead close home and defeat Quinmaster of Michael Halford's by 1 length.

Winning trainer Griffin said, "Johnny [Murtagh] gave him a great ride, he switched him off early and got him settled he tends to get a little upset. He got a nice clear run on the outside and there was never a doubt after that. There is a conditions race here over 7f on the 5th of December that we may come back for. Everything going well we will take him to the Dubai Carnival."
