Gravity too strong in last
Defying Gravity landed a bit of a touch (8/1 to 5/1) in the concluding hunters chase at Listowel for Trevor Horgan.
Mikey Fogarty made all on the Old Vic gelding and he kept on well down the straight to record a length-and-a-quarter success over Strawhall Maul
"He's a lovely horse to do anything with and is a gem to train," said Horgan.
"He really appreciates fast ground and attacks his fences on that ground. He's a nice staying chaser for the summer."
7/4 favourite Outlaw Pete was never travelling and pulled up before the sixth last fence.
