Ahead of a big day for the stable tomorrow with Blue De Vega contesting the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown, Kotonic gave the Michael O'Callaghan outfit a nice fillip when justifying 5/2 favoritism in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Nursery Handicap (Plus 10 Race) at Dundalk.
Killian Leonard lost his right to claim ten pounds by getting Kotonic home by half a length from Sweetie Jar
The victorious Kodiac filly was crediting Leonard with his third winner.
O'Callaghan's head lad Dave Hayes said: "She's been coming on. We expected a big run and she battled well. Every time she has run she has improved.
"It was a good ride. She had a big weight so we took the ten off."
