Rider Ronan Whelan added to his Curragh gains half-an-hour earlier on Your Pal Tal whilst for trainer Mick Channon a good day got better after wins at Epsom and in France when Divine (12/1) landed the Group 3 TRM Ballyogan Stakes for the fillies and mares at the Curragh.

Divine came through from mid-pack to quicken well between horses to lead approaching the final furlong. She was soon clear for a three and a half length win over favourite Fort Del Oro

"The race went to plan. Mr Channon told me to get some cover and ride her with a bit of confidence," said Whelan.

"It felt like they were going so hard but she travelled so well and I could pick when I wanted to go. She took off and put the race to bed.

"When the gap came I knew she'd quicken but I couldn't believe how far she ended up winning. She's not too bad!

"In fairness to my agent (Dave Keena) he put in the plug for me and got me the ride. I owe it all to him. It's great."

The Stewards fined William Muir (in GB), trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Fine Blend in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Fine Blend trained by William Muir (in GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
