The J.P. McManus owned Golden Ticket (9/1) bridged a gap of over two years since his previous win when winning the Thoroughbred County Novice Handicap Chase at Naas today for trainer Christy Roche and jockey mark Walsh.
The son of Galileo, last successful in a maiden hurdle in June 2011, moved to lead at the final fence before staying on for a length and a quarter win over Baily Dusk
Roche later stated “when he won his Bumper I thought he was going to be a grand horse.
“He has now found his level and it is nice to get a win with him.”
