Just minutes after taking the first at Leopardstown, Willie Mullins was on the mark in the opener at Limerick as Glens Of Antrim easily landed odds of 4/11 in the ‘David Fitzgerald - Take It Easee' Mares Maiden Hurdle.
Runner-up a couple of times last term and fourth in a Grade 1 at Fairyhouse behind Skyace, the daughter of Flemensfirth tracked the leaders before hitting the front between the final two flights. She readily went clear on the run-in to account for Emily Roebling by eight lengths.
Winning rider Jody McGarvey said: "She was the best horse in a bad race and she made the most of it. It is hard going out there, it is horrible and there aren't too many horses that like it."
