Dermot O’Brien registered his second win as a trainer as his Glendine River landed the concluding www.tramore-racecourse.com (Ladies) Maiden at at his local track at Tramore today, winning under jockey Sheila Ahern.
Dungarvan based O’Brien later stated “she surprised me today. If she could just get her jumping together over hurdles, she’d have a great future and hopefully she will at some stage.
“She is entered here tomorrow in a mares maiden hurdle and we’ll see how she is in the morning - she’ll probably come if she is okay.
“Sheila (Ahern) gave her a lovely ride and that's my own second winner - she (Glendine RIver) won a bumper for me in May at Cork.”
