- Glen continues good start for Dawson
Glen continues good start for Dawson
Sarah Dawson continued a fine start to her training career when Clare Glen followed up her recent Chepstow success in the finale at Sligo tonight.
Seamus Heffernan produced the filly with a well-timed run to lead inside the final furlong and score by a length-and-three-quarters from Knight Eagle
It was win number three on the racecourse for Dawson, who saddled her first with Penolva at Bellewstown last month.
"She's a hardy girl - as tough as they come," said Banbridge handler.
"Seamie said she felt really sweet. He's rode a few for us now and said whatever we are doing to keep doing it as they are enjoying it.
"That's her anyway. You'd know if she wasn't enjoying it. She's tough and loves it. She seems to handle any ground as well. We'll see how she comes out of this."
