Geraghty back in the winner's enclosure
The opening race on today's card at Listowel, The Island Maiden Hurdle was won by the Edward O'Grady trained Warne under Barry Geraghty.
Geraghty returned to the saddle only yesterday after he broke his wrist following a heavy fall from the Colm Murphy trained Zaarito at The Punchestown Festival.
Winning trainer O'Grady said afterwards, "He hasn't run since December we were waiting for the better ground although I didn't think we'd get it today but the owner Noel Murphy had two other runners so we decided to take our chance."
