Ger takes last in style
Arklow Ger produced a fine performance to round off proceedings on National Day at Fairyhouse.
Alain Cawley produced his mount to lead at the second last in the 3m1f handicap chase.
Paul Nolan 's charge sprang over the last to settle matters and kept on well in the closings stages to post a four-and-a-half length winning margin over Askmeroe
"He's not an easy horse to ride as he looks in trouble in his races then picks it up," revealed Nolan.
"We might keep him on the go during the summer and if we're not too hard on him he might make a Galway Plate horse."
