Art Scene and Danny Grant win in good style

A chance meeting in Georgia, USA on St Patrick’s Day this year led to a happy reunion at Tipperary this evening as Art Scene triumphed for the Hat Creek Racing Syndicate.
Trainer Pat Flynn explained, “My wife Catherine and I spent St Patrick’s Day in Savannah, Georgia this year and we met Monsignor O’Neill and Sheri Kinsella who are here this evening and are part of the syndicate.
“The visor got her more interested. She is a talented filly but still weak and she lasted it out well.”
The Excellent Art filly was prominent throughout under Danny Grant, and kept on well under pressure in the straight to beat fellow 7/1 chance Reckless Lad by three lengths. Ghost Of A Girl (8/1) was a further half-length away in third.
