The opening race this afternoon at Tipperary The Longfield Stables Abergwaun Stakes was won by Senor Benny trained by Kevin Mc Donagh and ridden by Chris Geoghegan.

Kevin McDonagh trainer said afterwards, "Chris gave him a great ride, he won this race last year and that's his 4th Listed win. We will now head for a handicap in Naas in two weeks time."
