The Kanturk Handicap Hurdle went to Gabriel Ranger (13/2) under Danny Mullins.
The Diamond Boy gelding, dropping back in trip after finishing fourth over three miles at Tipperary, came from mid-division to move into a challenging position off the home turn and a flying leap at the last carried him to a two-and-a-quarter length victory over Magic Olinger
Joe Murphy, who trains the winner for Tadhg O'Sullivan, said "We got him over the line at last. He had a little break, I think that is his level and I don't know what the handicapper will do with him now."
