Foxfire Glow completed a quick-double for Gordon Elliott at Tramore, as he claimed the Ergo Rated Novice Hurdle.
A winner when stepping up in trip on his fifth start over flights at Downpatrick last month, the JP McManus-owned five-year-old was well-fancied to follow-up this evening, going off the 6/4 favourite.
Settled behind the leaders by Mark Walsh (his sole ride of the evening), the Vadamos bay improved to the front after three out.
Pressed from the next, he was ridden on the approach to the final flight and kept on best under pressure in the closing stages, coming home a length-and-a-quarter to the good.
The Martin Hassett-trained Bynx (5/1) threw down a challenge from two out, but she ultimately had to settle for second under Brian Hayes, with Hidalgo Des Mottes (3/1) another three-and-a-quarter lengths back in third.

"He is going the right way and I'd say he'll have no problem getting a bit further. He doesn't mind the ground.
"I'd say Listowel will be on the agenda for him now. It's nice to come down here and have a winner."
Elliott had earlier taken the previous contest with Royal Eagle
