Sent off 11/2 favourite, Y Fyn Duw A Fydd landed the two-mile handicap hurdle under Kieren Buckley.
The daughter of Nathaniel was prominent throughout, led two out and stayed on well to beat Serpolette by a length and a quarter. Virtual Oscar and Peace Party completed the frame.
Runner-up at Kilbeggan in the spring, this was a first win over hurdles for the seven-year-old.
Winning trainer Lorna Fowler said: "She gives it everything every time she runs. She deserved that more than anything.
"As Kieren said, she just loved it from start to finish and jumped beautifully. She had plenty left to give and all the cards fell so she will have a little holiday now.
"He is (good value for 5lb). He actually rode Doyenna for me by chance at Tramore. It is only his third ride for me.
"I tried over 2m5f but that was too far and I thought she would like the undulations in Downpatrick but, at the end of the day, she really enjoyed the galloping track today.
"I think the combination of getting the nice run in front and the galloping track all combined to suit her. She enjoyed finding her rhythm. She does want the better ground for sure.
"I would have thought a fence is surely in her future."
