Trainer Charlie Swan's horses have hit form in recent weeks and registered his fourth win in a fortnight when his Sands Cove landed the Find Us On Facebook Beginners Chase at Tramore today.

Ridden by jockey David Casey (successful on Swan's Tangled Web at Ballinrobe on Tuesday), the pair's chances were aided by the fall of challenging favourite Edeymi at the second last fence, with Casey moved the gelding through on the inner to lead before the last. At the line, Sands Cove had two and a half lengths to spare over Coldstonesober

Swan wasn't present but winning owner Timmy Hyde Junior stated “he promised a lot when he won his bumper but hasn't run on good ground too much and I'd say he appreciated it today.

“Charlie fancied him well and I imagine he'll want to go for a winners' of one chase next.”
