Happy Dreams (7/4f) registered a fourth career win at Limerick today, as the Michael McDonagh owned-and-trained six year old landed the Limerick Racecourse On Social Handicap Chase, under Sean O'Keeffe.
The son of Zanzibari won consecutive races last October and November and today followed up a Fairyhouse success in February. Happy Dreams was short of room, on the inner, jumping the final two fences but finished well to deny Take All by a neck.
Shannon-based McDonagh reported “it was a slowly ran race and it was a bit short for him but he isn't too bad and is very genuine and tough. He had to work hard and knuckle down to win. He is tough, like myself!
“He has probably enough done now for this season.”
