Foley's Dariak wins Tralee feature

Galway Hurdle fourth Dariak landed the featured Brandon Hotel Handicap Hurdle at Tralee today for trainer Tom Foley and jockey David 'Fresh' Flannery.

The grey son of Highest Honour tracked the leaders before moving through to lead before the third last, eventually staying on for a two length win over Salt Lake

Afterwards Foley reported "I was worried about the ground being too soft but he handled it well and it is a great prize to win. He may go to Punchestown in two weeks time but from there I've no plans. However, he has schooled well over fences."
