Foley records double
The final race on this evening’s card, the Derrinstown Stud Apprentice Handicap was won by 7/2 favourite Andre Mon Ami from the Andrew Kinsella yard under Shane ‘Dusty’ Foley making it a double on the day for the jockey.
Winning trainer Kinsella said afterwards, “He’s turned a corner at last and he didn’t pull himself up when he got to the front this time. We will keep him for Galway now, he ran well there before . We always thought a lot of him but he went a bit astray on us but he’s coming back to himself now.”
