Foley continues good run
Shane ‘Dusty’ Foley who rode a double yesterday evening at Sligo was continuing his good run after he landed the Dodder Handicap aboard the Michael Halford trained Magic Mornings for owner Valerie Osborne.
Winning trainer Halford said afterwards, “She stuck at it well. It was her first time in an all age handicap and I thought it looked a very competitive race and it was a great effort.”
“Shane gave her a great ride and she did it well and answered every call. She wouldn’t want anymore of an ease in the ground. I was little worried about the ground after the heavy shower before racing. She will probably come back here next week for a 6 furlong race.”
