Flynn wins aboard Prince Noora
The Karl Casey Birthday Bash Handicap Chase caused a surprise when 20/1 shot Prince Noora from the Charlie Swan stable came home in front with Lenny Flynn doing the steering for owners the Triple Eight Syndicate.
Flynn raced his mount in behind the leaders, improved to lead approaching 2 out, strongly pressed last but the pair kept on well to hold off the Eoin Doyle trained Kiltorcan Boy by a neck.
Prince Noora who is a half brother to Robert Tyner’s Footy Facts paid €37.40 for a win on the tote. The 100/30 favourite Bishop’s Lane finished third.
