The J.P. McManus owned First In Line made a winning debut over hurdles at Gowran Park on Saturday in the hands of Alan Crowe.

"We only have him two weeks from Charles (O'Brien) and he is a lovely horse. My son Niall did all the schooling on him, but unfortunately he is injured. The horse was fit when he came to us so we just had to keep him ticking over,' said trainer Niall Madden afterwards.
