Stoke The Fire has been the subject of a significant market move ahead of the Weatherbys Digital Solutions Handicap (5.05pm) at Down Royal this afternoon.
The Willie Mullins-trained gelding hasn’t shown much in just four outings as a juvenile and reappears here after an absence of 607 days.
On the plus side champion jockey Colin Keane has been booked and the four-year-old who steps up considerably in distance has been slashed from early offers of 5/1 into as short as 11/10. Londonofficecallin has also attracted plenty of interest in the same extended 1m4f event being backed from 7/1 into 5/2.
Meanwhile at Limerick’s evening meeting, Khafaaq in the mile handicap (7.30) and Beechwood in the following 1m4f maiden (8.00) are both proving popular.
