Farmleigh House keeps prize at home
The opening www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap at Dundalk this evening went to the Willie Martin trained Farmleigh House under Conor Hoban.
The son of Medecis tracked the leaders before being produced with his challenge in the straight, eventually coming through to head British challenger Dickie’s Lad on the line.
Afterwards Martin stated “I’m delighted with him and he now has everythin in front of him in the sprint division.
“He was nicely drawn today and I told the jockey not to lose that advantage. I train in Enniscorthy and have four horses in training.” The win was Martin’s first success since September 2007.
