Winning trainer Fahy said afterwards, "I'm happy with that now, I thought after his mistake our chance was gone but he kept on and he got a great jump at the last. I'm delighted for the horse too as he has broken down twice. He will probably have a little break now and we'll bring him back here for a flat race and then head for the Galway Plate."
